Katie and Darren chose Meadow Ridge Farm in Winterport, Maine, to celebrate their wedding surrounded by everything they love about this state. They had many important guest that were visiting for the first time so they started out their weekend with a lobster feast after rehearsal playing corn hole and telling stories around the camp fire.
Their ceremony took place beside the pond, with cocktail hour and dancing in The Red Barn, tucked into the quiet charm of Meadow Ridge. Many of their guest stayed right on the property which made the whole weekend feel less like an event and more like a gathering of family under one roof.
We were there for it all, from the rehearsal dinner through a full 12 hour wedding day, with a second shooter alongside to make sure every moment and every angle was captured. Maine Weddings 207 brought the day together with coordination, florals, and DJ services, The Salty Dog provided a BBQ catered meal. But what made this wedding so beautiful was the love in the room. Katie and Darren's guests were so warm and welcoming. It was truly a wonderful celebration from start to finish.
