Madison, Maine


Anna and Alex celebrated their wedding at Fairytale Gardens in Madison, Maine, a property spread across more than 20 stunning acres of orchard, perennial gardens, and open green space. They were surrounded by 75 of their closest family and friends for a day that felt effortless from the start. They knew exactly how they wanted their day to feel, choosing to skip the detail and getting-ready photos so they were ready and relaxed by the time I arrived.


I was on site for six hours, documenting their ceremony in the woodland ceremony area, and a reception inside Gloria, the property's 200-year old barn. Anna and Alex leaned into a lot of the beautiful decor the venue already provided, from the farmhouse chairs to the rustic chandelier lighting, adding in just a few personal touches that made the day feel wholly their own.


Every couple celebrates differently, and Anna and Alex's day was a wonderful reminder of that. It was an event catered entirely the way they wanted to celebrate, and that kind of intention will always be honored here.
