Some love stories start with a place. Alice and Jonathan's started with a college acceptance letter, Alice moved to Maine to study, and somewhere along the way this state became home for both of them. So when it came time to plan their wedding, there was really only one answer to "where". They wanted their people to fall in love with Maine the way they had.
Tucked away in picturesque Gray, Maine, Caswell Farm & Wedding Barn gave them exactly that. It's the kind of place that does the work for you. Historic barn, 50 acres of gardens and open sky, that particular quiet-but-alive feeling that Maine does better than anywhere.
Most of their guest flew in for the wedding. Grandparents, friends, and family all making the trip to a state most of them had never seen. It made every hug at the reception feel a little heavier, every "we made it" a little more true. Alice and Jonathan got to say, this is the place we chose, these are our people, and somehow, for one day, both worlds got to exist together.
